Attack Iran Any military action against Iran's atomic programme is likely to backfire and accelerate Tehran's development of a nuclear bomb, a report today by a British former nuclear weapons scientist warns. In his report, Frank Barnaby argues that air strikes, reportedly being contemplated as an option by the White House, would strengthen the hand of Iranian hardliners, unite the Iranian population behind a bomb, and would almost certainly trigger an underground crash programme to build a small number of warheads as quickly as possible Mr Ahmadinejad was in Saudi Arabia yesterday for talks with King Abdullah aimed at defusing Shia-Sunni tensions in Iraq and seeking consensus between the region's two great adversaries. But many fear that Iran's nuclear aspirations could trigger a Middle East arms race. |

Looking for Maya Nagari 35 year old Indian woman leaves husband, 3 children, and family textile business in Kashmir behind with a clear target: set up a textile factory in the little Italian town of Biella, at the foot of the Alps… Chatting to shop owners that cater for the tourist in Goa, we got interested in the way the textile industry works in India and that’s how we heard of her story. We got fascinated by it, and without a name or a contact, we travelled all the way to Biella, following her steps. The charming city of Biella has a long tradition in the textile industry, a tradition based on generations of hard work and top quality. An industry very much in crisis now, “Maya Nagari” (as we decided to call our mistery woman – it’s the name given to Mumbai as the “city of dreams”, equivalent to the “big apple”) saw the opportunity to cut the “middle man” in her business and buy one of the now abandoned factories in Biella. She saw a gap in the market and decided to start her enterprise from scratch, using cheap materials and labour brought from her country, and copying the big Italian brands.
